Joomla 1.5 is no longer supported by security updates so if you're website is on Joomla 1.5 then you're putting your own website and your users data at risk.  

If you're at Joomla 1.5 already then you need to start planning your migration and upgrade to Joomla 2.5 or preferrably Joomla version 3.0.
